The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium suites are available for rent and come in a variety of sizes to suit every need. Whether entertaining clients, putting the finishing touches on a major deal, hosting a meeting, or socializing with friends and family, Sobeys Stadium suites provide convenience, comfort, and service for your special event. Please be advised that these suites are available on a limited basis and prices vary by suite and event.

We strongly recommend that you obtain your tickets for The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium events from Ticketmaster. We are unable to guarantee the validity of tickets purchased from third-party sources. We cannot honour counterfeit/invalid tickets. Any fan who, knowingly or unknowingly, gains entry using invalid tickets will be subject to ejection without compensation.

Concert gate times can vary, but generally gates will open 60 minutes before the start time listed on the ticket. Please check the event detail page for each event.

Children 24 months and under may enter without a ticket but must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. All children over 24 months MUST have a valid ticket for a specific seat location and be accompanied by an adult. This policy is subject to change based on the event.

ACCESSIBILITY

Yes, accessible tickets are only for fans with disabilities and their companions.

  • Accessible and companion seating is available at Sobeys Stadium in the Level 100 section and there are two elevators to access the stadium.
  • Please be sure to select ‘Show accessible tickets’ when ordering on www.ticketmaster.ca
  • Accessible parking is conveniently located across the street and is available on a first-come first-serve basis with a valid, government-issued, handicap parking pass.
  • Once inside the gates, a wheelchair escort service is provided if requested to assist clients in getting to their seats. We will keep our assistive devices in good working order and will inform our fans of their availability or any disruption of service.

Animals, Lizards, Birds or pets of any kind are not permitted at The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium, with the exception of service animals for fans with disabilities. A service animal is defined as any animal that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability and can be identified as such. Accessible tickets must be purchased for guests with registered service animals.

No, accessible tickets are only for fans with disabilities and their companions. Fans who abuse this policy could have their order cancelled.

General Admission Entrance is fully accessible (Gates A - D) There are also 3 elevators onsite where people with accessibility needs always take priority.

This policy has been prepared to meet the compliance requirements of the AODA (Accessibility For Ontarians Disabilities Act) Customer Service Standard and to articulate what people may expect from The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium in regard to this standard. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium’s policy is intended to benefit the full range of persons with disabilities, as defined in the Ontario Human Rights Code.

OUR COMMITMENT
The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium strives at all times to provide goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. In accordance with the AODA, the organization is committed to ensuring that, persons with disabilities receive accessible goods and services of the same quality that others receive. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium will make best efforts to ensure that all our policies, procedures and practices are consistent with the core principles of independence, dignity, integration and equality.

PURPOSE OF AODA AND REQUIREMENTS OF STANDARD
Accessibility in Ontario must become widespread and commonplace, so that people with disabilities can count on it, daily. Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) became law in 2005.

The Accessibility Directorate of Ontario (ADO) is responsible for supporting and monitoring compliance As each Accessibility Standard is developed, compliance is province-wide and mandatory Customer Service Standard was the first to become law. The Integrated Accessibility Standards, which combine information communication, employment and transportation, became law on July 1, 2011.

1. ACCESSIBLE SEATING
i. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium is committed to providing an exceptional experience for all fans and is pleased to offer accessible seating throughout the stadium. Accessible seating is available in Level 100 and there are two elevators to access the stadium. Accessible tickets can be purchased. Accessible parking is conveniently located close to the site and is available on a first-come first-serve basis with a valid, government-issued, handicap parking pass. Seats may be purchased as a single or in pairs to accommodate the fan and a support person.

2. USE OF ASSISTIVE DEVICES
i. An assistive device is classified as any piece of equipment a person with a disability uses to help them with daily living. Examples include a wheelchair, screen reader, listening device or cane. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium is committed to serving persons with disabilities who use assistive devices to obtain, use or benefit from its goods and services.

ii. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium will ensure that staff know how to use and assist with assistive devices and inform individuals wishing to access available assistive devices.

iii. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium welcomes fans with disabilities and allows them to use their own personal assistive devices. A wheelchair escort service to assist the fan in getting to their seat will be provided if requested. We will keep our assistive devices in good working order and will inform our fans of their availability or any disruption of service. Please note that we do not have wheelchairs that fans may keep for the duration of the event. Note on Oxygen Tanks: Fans requiring the use of an oxygen tank may bring it with them into the stadium, however, an accessible seat must be purchased and we ask that they notify our Guest Services team so that we can ensure they have the best accommodating seat location.

3. USE OF SERVICE ANIMALS AND SUPPORT PERSONS
i. Persons with disabilities may bring their service animal on the parts of The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium grounds that are open to the public or other third parties. Service animals are also permitted in the Tennis Canada office area. Tennis Canada will ensure that all employees, volunteers and third parties dealing with the public are trained in how to interact with persons with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal.

ii. A service animal may not be permitted to enter an area of the premises consistent with other laws, such as areas that deal with the preparation of food. In these instances, managers will suggest appropriate alternatives and provide assistance.

iii. Any person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to enter The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium premises open to the public or other third parties with his or her support person. At no time will a person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person be prevented from having access to his or her support person while on the premises.

iv. To ensure the safety of our fans and their service animals, we require that they be seated in an accessible seating section.

v. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium will charge an admission fee for support persons accompanying a person with a disability. (accessible ticket must be purchased)

The ultimate goal of this Policy is to meet customer service expectations while responding to the requests of individuals with disabilities. Comments on how well The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium is meeting those expectations are welcome and appreciated.

Privacy will be respected and all feedback will be reviewed for possible action that can be taken to improve he Bowl at Sobeys Stadium services. Feedback received will be redirected to an appropriate contact person in the relevant unit of the organization, as appropriate. Where possible, complaints will be addressed immediately. However, some complaints may require more effort to address and must be reviewed for action, possibly involving several elements within the organization.

THE VENUE

Spread over 15 acres, Sobeys Stadium (1 Shoreham Drive) is conveniently on the campus of York University just minutes away from Pioneer Village station on Line 1. The TTC is the easiest, most efficient way for most people to get to and from Sobeys Stadium.

Here are the quickest, most efficient ways to get to and from Sobeys Stadium on the day of your visit.

BY PUBLIC TRANSIT
Sobeys Stadium is located near the Pioneer Village station on Line 1 towards Vaughan. It is about an 8-minute walk away. The bus routes that stop close to the site are the 106, 108 and 960.

BY TAXI OR RIDESHARE
The recommended pick up/drop off for taxis and Uber rides is just to the Northeast of the stadium, in the roundabout on Arboretum Lane.

BY BICYCLE
There are bike racks on the campus of York University within walking distance of Sobeys Stadium. There are also bike racks located at the Pioneer Village station.

BY CAR:
From Highway 407
Take Hwy. 407 to Keele Street. Exit at Keele Street and go South. At Steeles Avenue turn right (York campus is now on your left)

From Highway 401
Take Hwy. 401 to Hwy. 400 Northbound. Exit at Steeles Avenue and go East (York campus will be on your right)

From Highway 400 (Southbound)
Take Hwy. 400 South to Hwy. 7. Exit onto Hwy. 7 and go East to Jane Street. At Jane Street make a right and head South. At Steeles Avenue, turn left (York campus is now on your right)

From Highway 400 (Northbound)
Take Hwy. 400 North to Steeles Avenue. Exit at Steeles Avenue and go east (York campus will be on your right)

STADIUM CODE OF CONDUCT

The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience that is inclusive, and free of discrimination and harassment in our Venue. Everyone is welcome and should expect and help to promote an environment where people are treated in a courteous, professional, considerate and respectful manner by all fans, arena staff, team and event personnel, performers, players and other guests. Accordingly, Sobeys Stadium has a zero-tolerance policy towards acts of intolerance, racism, or discriminatory behaviour of any kind and will not tolerate unsafe, abusive, unlawful, inciteful, or offensive conduct in our Venue. This Code of Conduct addresses conduct that is inconsistent with these goals and detracts from the overall fan experience.

The following conduct is prohibited in the Venue, parking lots, facilities and areas controlled by The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium and during any interactions with The Bowl staff and representatives (e.g. on the phone):

  • Behaviour that is unruly, disruptive, threatening or violent in nature, including verbal or physical harassment of officials, players, staff or fans
  • Conduct that is illegal
  • Possession of a Prohibited Item (defined below)
  • Conduct that results in damage to the Venue or other personal property
  • Displaying signs, symbols, images, flags, clothing, or banners that may be considered be considered vulgar, discriminatory, disrespectful, or a tool to be used for incitement or protest
  • Using language or making gestures that are threatening, inciteful, abusive, or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, ability, and/or sexual orientation
  • Displaying signs, symbols, images or messaging that are deemed to be political and divisive in nature or related to a foreign conflict
  • Displaying signs, symbols, images or messaging for commercial purposes
  • Entering or attempting to enter the venue other than that permitted by the fan’s ticket or credential
  • Weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, knives, pepper spray, stun guns, brass knuckles, and firearms
  • Possession of an unauthorized pyrotechnic device, smoke or fireworks
  • Throwing objects of any kind, or entering the playing surface or performance area
  • Failing to follow requests from Venue staff regarding Venue operations, policies and emergency response procedures
  • Declining to promptly return a ball that enters the stands
  • Irresponsible use or consumption or any signs of impairment from the use of alcohol or other substances
  • Possession of alcohol by a minor or providing alcohol to a minor
  • Possession of alcohol not purchased inside the Venue
  • Smoking (including e-cigarettes or vaporizers) except in specifically designated areas
  • Sitting in a location other than the seat identified on the guest’s ticket
  • Making unauthorized transmissions or play-by-play accounts of the match
  • Any disruptive, harmful or disorderly behaviour or any act which, in the opinion of Venue officials, presents a risk to the safety of fans or staff, interferes with the game or event

Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct is subject to sanctions at the discretion of Sobeys Stadium, which may include ejection, suspension of entry privileges, arrest, prosecution and banishment from any or all facilities whether or not a warning is issued. Any fan who conducts themselves in an extremely disruptive or dangerous manner or commits multiple violations during 12 months, may be banned from attending all events hosted at the venue for up to a year or longer.

Fans who are ejected will have their tickets revoked and will not be compensated in any way. Ejection may also result in the loss of season tickets or other privileges.

Season ticket members and suite holders are reminded that they are responsible for the behaviour of anyone using their tickets and that failure to abide by this Code of Conduct by suite holders, or by anyone using their tickets, may result in the loss of season tickets or member or suite holder privileges.

All guests are reminded that bottles, coolers and containers of any kind are not allowed into the Venue and may be confiscated. Sobeys Stadium reserves the right to limit the size of bags, purses or backpacks permitted within the Venue. Guests are advised to consult the applicable Venue websites for specific policies with respect to bags. Sobeys Stadium reserves the right to prohibit the entry of items which may, in Sobeys Stadium’s opinion, interfere with the ability of other guests to enjoy the game or event.

Venue staff have been trained to intervene when necessary to help ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Guests are encouraged to report any violations of this Code of Conduct or any inappropriate behaviour to the nearest usher, security guard or fan services staff member at info@liveatthebowl.com

Sobeys Stadium thanks you for adhering to this Code of Conduct and for making each event special and memorable for you and your fellow guests.

Our goal is to promote responsible alcohol service and enhance fan safety and enjoyment. Sobeys Stadium staff are trained in responsible alcohol management.

Rules and Regulations Governing Alcohol Management at The Bowl, Sobeys Stadium events:

  • Alcohol from outside the building cannot be brought in.
  • Any person found inside the building with alcohol not purchased in Sobeys stadium is subject to immediate ejection.
  • A person may not enter the building in an intoxicated state.
  • Intoxication in a public place is a criminal offence.
  • Any person found on the property in an intoxicated state will be removed from the premises.
  • Any person purchasing, possessing, or consuming alcohol must be 19 years of age or older and must be able to produce an acceptable photo I.D. proving their age.
  • Acceptable forms of photo I.D. at Sobeys Stadium are valid driver’s license; Age of Majority Card; Armed Forces Card; Passport; Canadian Citizenship Card; MTO Issued Photo ID; Canadian Permanent Resident Card; Native Status card.

Sobeys Stadium is a smoke-free building*, including all outdoor areas, suites and lounges. The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium. is committed to the health and safety of our employees, our fans and everyone visiting our premises.

Fans wishing to leave the building to smoke will not be allowed back in the building, per the re-entry policy. Please note: anyone found smoking inside Sobeys Stadium will be immediately ejected from the arena and subject to the maximum fines as per Ontario's Smoke-Free Act.

* This also includes the use of electronic cigarettes, cannabis or tobacco products.

The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium has a strict no-smoking policy. As with cigarettes, cannabis can be brought into the building but is not to be consumed or used inside our venue at any time. Smoking of any kind will result in ejection from the Stadium. Sobeys Stadium has a strict no in/out policy. In/out privileges will be granted if proper medical documentation is presented to security for personal consumption ONLY. Please note that if you are in possession of cannabis for recreational use, including edibles, you will not be granted entry into our venue and it cannot be used at any time while in our facility.

SECURITY

The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium has its own facility and event security personnel present during all events. Please contact info@liveatthebowl.com with any questions.

You Are Subject to Search
You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without a refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation: firearms, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, strobe lights, irritants (e.g., artificial noisemakers), bundles and containers. Cameras/Smartphones, provided the following rules are followed:

  • No flash photography
  • No tripods, monopods or selfie sticks
  • Photography must not be a nuisance to other spectators

To protect all guests and employees, a restricted bag policy is in place at Sobeys Stadium.

Only small purses, clutch, or fanny pack type bags smaller than 16.5cm x 11.5cm (6.5” x 4.5”) are permitted.

If for any reason (medical or other) a bag is required that does not adhere to the bag policy, entry may be permitted subject to inspection of the bag and contents.

This policy is subject to change on an event-by-event basis.

The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium is a RAIN OR SHINE venue (no refunds).

Outdoor concerts and events are, by their nature subject to inclement weather; In the case of rain, a performance can continue if it is safe for both the performers and equipment to do so; In the case of thunder and/or lightning, the Technical Supervisor is required to shut down the stage and clear the stands of all persons to reduce the risk of being hit by lightning; Once 30 minutes have passed without hearing thunder or seeing lightning, will the Technical Supervisor/Event Support Supervisor will advise the stage crew to re-open the stage; performance will continue.

MISCELLANEOUS

For safety and as a courtesy to other fans, please help keep the aisles clear at all times. We ask that all fans refrain from standing, sitting or dancing in the aisles.

The Bowl at Sobeys stadium is a fully cash-free venue that only accepts debit and credit cards, including major contactless payment methods, for a safe and speedy checkout.

Not currently, the venue will follow government regulations.

Currently, The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium does not have a volunteer program.
